![]() MHONA’S History: MHONA (Many Helpers Outreach Network Agency) INTERNATIONAL was established in 1962, as a self-help outreach for Victims and Survivors of Violent Trauma. In time, MHONA started addressing and assisting men, women, youth, with variances of disabilities. MHONA continued through the years to serve lives with profound disabilities with a Tel. warm line. MHONA became connected to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation of Northern CA. and started to hold both support groups and added lives by telephone for over some 10 years. Mrs. Kostanian was the first woman and self-help support group leader to hold groups for civilians (youth, women, men), veterans dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. MHONA has received awards from her community, San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, and the California State Legislature for exemplary work in the community. MHONA Outreach Founder: Disabled & Human Rights Advocate Since 1962 Mrs. Tatiana A. Kostanian was appointed to San Francisco Mayors Disability Council as a Commission Member in 2003, by Mayor Gavin Newsom. She represents San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and the Board of Supervisors on ‘In Home-Services Board for The Elderly and Disabled’, a city and state policy board. She serves on a Commission Investigating Persecution of the Falun Gong, started by David Kilgour, Retired Member of Parliament for the Southeastern ares of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada: She also has been a member for 3 years on the City College of San Francisco’s Homeless Students Committee. She served 14 years on The San Francisco Mental Health Consumer Family Board. Mrs Kostanian owns a non-profit agency ‘MHONA International’(Est.1962) It was established for lives profoundly disabled by all manner in life, includes violence. MHONA offers lives gain back their independence, by showing positive actions we can offer in the time we have left to live. Mrs. Kostanian continues to advocate for all life, while on permanent life support-Dialysis-there has been no match for a kidney for the last 10 years

Global Invite:Join us in a Peace walk and roll for all life, with, without a disability. Choose to walk for a loved one, partner, child, friend unable to leave their home or bed. Pledge Walk:Raise Funds Build Global Peace Centre for education, events, art, music, work for peace, human rights, disabled rights; leave a legacy for the future. Participants/Volunteers Send your info to: walkroll2009@gmail.com When you join us, please bring 1 lovely flower, or more, to so we can collect them after our event, take them to local hospitals retirement homes, etc. Or on the same day spend time,visit a loved one, friend,child, right here, from the Heart of San Francisco, tell them they are loved and will stay in our hearts, forever. This is now the start of a beautiful story and a growing friendship for both civilians, youth, veterans from a beautiful city of the heart. We want it to blossom into a yearly event that will bind all lives together in and with one unified understanding. We want all to live and prosper in a democratic environment promoting our abilities and freedoms, with faith, love and dignity. Our success is every one's. FREE Shuttle Service: Mobilty Plus Transportation will be providing FREE shuttle services for people with disabilities from Civic Center Bart Station in downtown San Francisco to the Presidio, San Francisco . Pick-up times will be 7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, and 1:30pm . Return Shuttle Service from the Presidio will be at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm. Van capacity:10 passenger including room for 3 wheelchairs. Look for a white and red shuttle van with a sign in the window “Walk&Roll San Francisco” Captioning will be provided at event. P.O.
